DESCRIPTION:
The contractor was concerned that limited on-site storage space on a confined, town centre site could result in materials supply interruptions, disrupting the work flow. BRC was asked to identify a working method to overcome the lack of storage.
SOLUTION:
In order to minimise site storage requirements, we pre-fabricated the beams and columns and also supplied custom-engineered mesh. This ensured that the steel could be off-loaded and craned into position straight away, virtually eliminating the need for site storage.
