Case study :: Custom engineered mesh
Re-detailing the floor area reinforcement of these accommodation units - making use of custom engineered mesh in sheet sizes to suit the specific bay sizes of the project - resulted in a two day time saving against the original three day estimate to cut and position standard fabric.
Case study :: Prefabrication
The contractor was concerned that limited on-site storage space on this confined, town centre site could result in materials supply interruptions, disrupting the work flow. BRC was asked to identify a working method to overcome the lack of storage.
Case study :: Carpet reinforcement
The main contractor on this geographically remote site envisaged difficulties procuring skilled labour to fix loose bar reinforcement, so asked BRC to assist with the objective of reducing the reliance on skilled labour. Re-detailing the floor slab using carpet reinforcement allowed it to be quickly and easily laid by general labour.
